Most elle. pieces are made in sterling silver. Silver naturally reacts to air, water, and skin over time — this is normal, and part of how it lives with you.

Daily wear

• Silver can mark or soften with wear. Treat it gently, but don’t be afraid to wear it — regular wear often helps reduce tarnish.

• Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, cleaning, or exercising.

Storage

• Store pieces dry and airtight when not worn (a zip bag or sealed pouch works well).

• Keep away from humidity and direct sunlight.

• Store pieces separately to avoid scratches.

Cleaning

• For everyday care, wash gently with warm water and mild soap, then dry completely with a soft cloth.

• For deeper tarnish, use a silver polishing cloth and polish lightly.

• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or rough polishing — especially on textured finishes.

Stones & special finishes

• Keep gemstone pieces away from perfume, hand sanitiser, hairspray, and lotions.

• If your piece has a high polish, expect fine hairline marks over time — this is normal and can be refreshed.
